About the Lodge
THE PLEASURE IS OURS, MAKE THE EXPERIENCE YOURS!
The name of our lodge was born out of an idea being nestled amongst an array of indigenous trees in the heart of the bush with hospitable staff offering warm and honest service.
A comfortable 2 hour drive from Nata, our safari lodge boasts a diverse landscape. Natural springs and streams combined with open savannahs as well as dense woodlands are home to 15 species of game and over 200 species of birds. The safari lodge is teeming with secluded spots where one can soak in the splendour of the African Bushveld and observe nature as it was intended.
The Main Lodge, as well as the accommodation has been built in the heart of the bush, ideally nestled amongst an array of indigenous trees which provide privacy. Both the architecture and finishes meld seamlessly into the surrounds to create a unique blend of comfort and authenticity.
The whole of Botswana follows a fairly similar weather pattern with November, December, January and February situated slap bang in the heat and rain of mid-summer. However, there’s plenty of greenery as well as the chance to see newborn animals alongside an abundance of migratory birds.
March is also a wet month although rainstorms tend to be confined to afternoon showers, especially when you enter into the month of April.
May signals the start of the dry season, with clear skies and moderate temperatures.
June, July and August are some of the best months to visit the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park as the wildlife is out in abundance. But be prepared for surprisingly chilly temperatures, especially for early morning game drives.
