Chobe National Park

Day trip to Kasane & the Chobe river

The Chobe National Park

… is one of Africa’s best places to observe huge herds of elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles and a
large variety of plains game, all on their way to or from the river traversing the partially open and wooded savannah. It is also not rare to get lion, leopard and other predator sightings.
The open game viewing vehicles provided, will guarantee you an exciting and unforgettable photographic safari through the park.
There is an extensive network of roads available, but the most rewarding ones follow the course of the river and cross the huge flood plains along it.

One of the Highlights - A river cruise on the Chobe

A boat cruise on the Chobe river will be one of your most notable experiences of your holiday. You'll be seeing countless elephant, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, antelope, baboon and many other things. Not to mention the unbelievable prolific bird live along the river.

Our Tip : Do your cruise in the afternoon – there is more game movement, the light is much gentler for photography and the sunsets on the river are usually out of this world. Also – you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks, but those can be, by prior arrangement, provided with the boat.

Observe the African Sunset from the Zambezi on a two hour long boat cruise. You'll be seeing hippos, crocodiles, elephants and many more, whilst having your sun downers on this iconic African river.
